I lived at this home for about 25 years and every year has a fond memory, from my son playing basketball at the hoop to our annual Christmas party. My late husband and I enjoyed entertaining and sharing the history of our wonderful home with others.

We hosted numerous Christmas Historical home tours and opened our home for Cushing Hospital and many day tours hosted by the Chamber of Commerce. Our home was a place where everyone was welcome and everyone enjoyed the history and age of the home.  To think that it was built shortly after the Civil War puts the age in perspective.  My husband Ray and I were hoping that my son, his stepson might move into our home someday, after realizing that he would not be returning to live here we decided it was time for another family to have the same wonderful experience  of living in this Broadway home. I will always remember the wonderful old trees that provided a shady place to have a glass of wine with friends or to enjoy the colors of fall while having a cup of coffee with friends.
